Pre-orders for the long-awaited Fable reboot opened shortly after the most recent Xbox showcase. Alongside being able to pre-order the base game for extra content, there was a pricey Collector's Edition, setting fans back $199.99 a pop to get a statue, steelbook case, and more.
These have clearly proven popular, because they've already sold out. Months before its release on February 23, 2027, developer Playground has announced that there are no more Fable Collector's Editions to go around, and it doesn't sound like there are any plans to restock them.
As soon as Playground revealed that it had run out of stock, I went to check eBay. Lo and behold, at least one seller is already trying to profit from this, with two listings for the bundle priced at $799.90.
Another seller has listed a Jack of Blades statue for $50, but don't be fooled. The picture makes it clear that it's a poor-quality knock-off, as it lacks a lot of the details from the official release.
