Rockstar Has Confirmed Once And For All That GTA 6 Won't Have Online At Launch

It looks like Grand Theft Auto 6's online mode definitely isn't going to launch alongside the game, as Rockstar and PlayStation have both described it as a "single-player experience".

We all knew that tomorrow, June 25, was going to be a big day for GTA 6 news thanks to the start of pre-orders, but Rockstar decided to make this whole week about them by sharing a ton of information about the game and its various editions today. Not only did we finally learn GTA 6's price, but we also got a ton of new screenshots of the game in all its glory.

One thing we didn't hear anything about is GTA 6's version of GTA Online, which Rockstar hasn't formally announced but all know is a thing that's coming somewhere down the line. It has looked very unlikely that the online mode would be a part of the game's launch, and that's been all but confirmed by both Rockstar and PlayStation.
