During a recent shareholders meeting, Square Enix replied to a question about a potential Switch 2 port of Final Fantasy 15 by saying that it's "under consideration" and not "impossible".
Although the jury's still out on whether Nintendo has really brought its A-game for Switch 2 exclusives, you can't deny that the console's third-party support has been pretty stellar so far. Square Enix has undoubtedly been one of the biggest contributors over the past year, with it notably bringing the massive Final Fantasy 7 Remake and Rebirth to the console.
And, of course, we can't forget about the recently announced Kingdom Hearts 1-3 Collection.
Those two games in particular have made it clear that Square Enix is capable of porting over most of its massive games to the Switch 2, which has everyone wondering where their favourites are. Final Fantasy 15, the best game in the series for Nomura lovers like me, is a game many would love to see on the Switch 2, and it's something Square might actually be looking into.
