Grand Theft Auto 6 fever has swept the globe, with many having already locked in their pre-orders, and even more closely analyzing new screenshots and artwork that Rockstar has released for the game's Ultimate Edition. Just like before, these screenshots are teeming with that classic Rockstar attention to detail, though not everyone is as pleased as you'd expect.
Over the past 24 hours, more and more GTA 6 fans have been looking closely at these new screenshots and have been comparing them to the last time we saw the game in action, that being the release of the game's second trailer. One image in particular, which shows off Jason's safehouse, is grabbing a lot of attention, as some are claiming that a potential "graphics downgrade" may have occurred.
First reported by Kotaku, a bunch of social media posts have blown up ever since these new screenshots were released, claiming that Jason's safehouse is proof that the graphics of GTA 6 look worse than they did in 2025. The exterior of Jason's safehouse is one apparent smoking gun, as is the foliage next to Jason's dirt bike parked outside the house.
