GTA 6 Prices Officially Range From $60 To $90

In the months or even years leading up to its announcement, there was a lot of talk about how much Grand Theft Auto 6 would cost. Given the cost of development and the anticipation around the game, there was some expectation that it could launch at as much as $100.

The official announcement was made yesterday, and those concerns were somewhat assuaged when Rockstar confirmed the game would cost $80 for the Standard Edition and $100 for the Ultimate Edition.

But while that's great news for those in the US, some parts of the world are set to pay almost $13 more for the Standard Edition and $18 more for the Ultimate, just by virtue of where they live.

The $80 price point for GTA 6 came as a bit of a surprise. Analysts and other developers had previously suggested that $100 was a fair price tag, and almost half of gamers admitted they would have been happy to pay it.

Unfortunately, though, or fortunately, depending on where you're based, GTA 6 prices vary massively.
