Persona Is Getting a Live-Action TV Series

A new report has revealed that a live-action adaptation of Persona is in development at Netflix. Franchise creator ATLUS has recently confirmed its next entry in the mainline Persona games and is also preparing for the launch of Persona 4 Revival.

Developed by P-Studios, an ATLUS division, the Persona series started out as a spin-off from the Shin Megami Tensei brand. The first title, Revelations: Persona, was launched in 1996. Since then, the Persona franchise has released four more mainline games and several of its own spin-offs. The long-rumored Persona 6 was also confirmed earlier in June 2026, almost ten years since its predecessor Persona 5, as well as six years since Persona 5 Royal, its enhanced version. Now, it seems the 30-year-old saga is venturing into the live-action industry.
