Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree rolled out a new patch today that focuses mostly on Spirit Ashes, buffing all but one—the infamous Mimic Tear Ashes .

Found in Nokron, Eternal City, this pile of silver goo rises from a puddle in the ground to form a complete copy of your build. They'll use your weapon arts, spells, and even items, with stats based on your own, making them the toughest summon by far.

If you're ever struggling with Malenia, get a great club, the Hammer Talisman, summon a Mimic , and you'll stun-lock her into oblivion.

As per patch 1.13, all summoned spirits will see increased attack power and damage negation when the Revered Spirit Ash Blessing is at [5] or more, and they'll see increased attack power and damage negation when upgraded to "+8 or higher". These ashes won't stagger as easily either, and some have individually increased HP, stats like faith, attack speed, and unique status effect damage like lightning and fire... all except for the Mimic.
