Claims were made over the weekend that the PS5 version of GTA 6 was outselling the Xbox version at a rate of roughly eight-to-one. Despite Xbox trying to rubbish those claims, the best-sellers chart on Amazon backs them up.
The PS5 version of GTA 6 is currently the 13th best-selling item in the site's video games department. It was fourth just yesterday, and has been in the top 20 ever since pre-orders went live. Impressive since it has been a week since that happened, and you have to imagine that most people eager to secure their physical copy of the game did so within minutes of pre-orders going live.
Compare that to the Xbox version, which is nowhere to be found among Amazon's best-sellers. To be clear, the list represents video game-related items only, not everything sold on the site. That includes games, consoles, accessories, even gift cards. That's why, on any given day, that $10 Roblox gift card is going to be either number one or damn close to it.
