Cheating in Call of Duty has been a persistent issue, continuously impacting the gameplay experience for many players. Despite significant efforts by developers to implement countermeasures and maintain fair play, cheaters consistently find new ways to exploit the game. Recently, this issue became more apparent with the release of Modern Warfare 3 on Xbox Game Pass. Players have reported a rise in cheating, with some cheaters using the PC version from the Microsoft Store but appearing in-game with an Xbox logo next to their names. This occurs because the Microsoft Store version of the game lists players as Xbox users in lobbies, allowing PC cheaters to disguise their activities as if they were playing on Xbox.
