In case you missed it, and quite frankly, we don't blame you if you did, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League launched its Season 2 update. The update adds Mrs. Freeze as a playable character, along with a major shakeup in the game's overall plot.

After having previously been leaked online, Season 2 confirmed what fans had been guessing all along. That is, that the Justice League aren't actually dead. All those "heroes" that were killed off in the base game were simply corrupted clones. The real Justice League is still out there and needs some saving, beginning with the reveal of The Flash, who is very much alive and also not corrupted.
That said, it's a major development, but it appears that it wasn't enough to draw players back in. Because, according to SteamDB, the number of players at Season 2's launch wasn't that much materially different than the number already playing. In other words, unless something changes, then Season 2 will almost assuredly be a flop.
