Assassin's Creed: Codename Hexe was announced years ago, but Ubisoft has been frustratingly quiet regarding the details of the next installment in the long-running franchise. Most of what's known to date simply comes from leaks and rumors, which have suggested the game will be set during the witch trials in the late Holy Roman Empire.
The latest update on the game also comes from a leak, unsurprisingly, but this one has the most concrete details yet. If the new information is reliable, Codename Hexe is finally starting to materialize into a tangible product, not just a vague, long-anticipated dream of a new Assassin's Creed game.
According to Ubisoft leaker Rogue | TX, Assassin's Creed: Codename Hexe will come in a $69.99 Standard Edition, $89.99 Deluxe Edition, and $119.99 Collector's Edition. Rogue | TX also claims that pre-ordering the game will unlock a bonus quest, but no details surrounding the quest itself are included. The leak includes a placeholder release window of June 2027, but Rogue | TX cautions that "at any given point this may change" and suggests that this window probably won't "stick."
