In about two weeks, veteran Xbox gamers and new PlayStation players will finally be able to journey to Alpha Halo in a brand-new way when Halo: Campaign Evolved launches on Tuesday, July 28th, for Xbox Series X|S, PC, and, for the first time ever, PlayStation 5 this summer.
A remake of 2001's Halo: Combat Evolved, Campaign Evolved will see Master Chief, Cortana, and the crew of the UNSC Pillar of Autumn once again land on a massive ancient ringworld called Halo, otherwise known as Installation 04 Alpha Halo, as they battle the alien hegemony called the Covenant and other unforeseen forces on the ring.
While Campaign Evolved will retain much of the same gameplay functions, level structure, and storyline as its 2001 predecessor, there will be many changes to Master Chief's first video game journey, with arguably the most noticeable being the new cast of actors portraying beloved characters.

Given that Halo: Combat Evolved is turning 25 years old this November, it's understandable that many of Halo's original voice actors would have retired in the quarter-century since CE's release, so Halo Studios had to recast several characters for the remake....
