Modern Warfare 4 Might Be An Xbox Game, But It Sounds Like It'll Play Better On PS5

Call of Duty might be an Xbox-published series, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the Series X|S will be the best place to play its games. PlayStation has highlighted some of the key features in Modern Warfare 4 on PS5 and PS5 Pro, and it sounds like, at least when it comes to consoles, that might be the best place to play.

A PlayStation Blog post that largely focuses on Kill Block, a new multiplayer mode that will be added to the series in Modern Warfare 4. However, at the end of the article, the next CoD’s PS5 Pro enhancements are detailed, alongside features that will be present on a base PS5 that can’t be replicated by Xbox consoles.

While both the PS5 and the Xbox versions of Modern Warfare 4 will support 4K visuals and 120Hz VRR support, the game will also take advantage of features on the PS5 that simply aren’t available on the Series X|S. Those features include 3D audio, as well as the DualSense’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
