Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced’s game director has confirmed that the team is listening to the community about the controversial removal of Hidden Blade combat.

For the most part, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is a faithful and frankly stunning remake of one of the most beloved games in the series. That being said, Resynced does have its fair share of new content and changes, some of which have been pretty divisive and viewed as a downgrade from the original.

Outside of the heavy emphasis placed on microtransactions and the grindy hunting, the most controversial change that Resynced makes from the original game is the complete removal of the fan-favourite Hidden Blade combat. Fans have made their thoughts very clear, and Ubisoft has now confirmed that it’s actively listening to the complaints.

As pointed out by Twitter user AccessTheAnimus, YouTuber JorRaptor recently had the chance to chat with Black Flag Resynced’s game director, Richard Knight. The interview mostly focused on the game’s post-launch support and revealed a bunch of content that Ubisoft has planned for Resynced’s roadmap.

That sadly doesn’t include a Freedom Cry remake, although the team has “more to say” about Edward.
