Bethesda's Shocking Reveals: Fallout 5, The Elder Scrolls VI Plans, and Two Remasters

Following XBOX's massive layoffs, Bethesda Director Todd Howard has just revealed a roadmap for Bethesda Game Studios, which is heavily focused on breathing new life into the Fallout series and finally delivering Elder Scrolls VI.

Howard's announcement confirms four new Fallout games are on the horizon: Remasters for Fallout New Vegas, and Fallout 3, Obsidian's Fallout, and Fallout 5, which has officially entered pre-production, but Howard stated Elder Scrolls VI is first in line, and will be the studio's primary focus.

One of the most well-known dystopian playgrounds, Fallout, will be getting some serious love in the near future, as Howard's announcement not only confirms Fallout 5 is now in pre-production, but also that Bethesda will be developing remasters for Fallout 3, and Fallout: New Vegas, and collaborating with Obsidian Entertainment on a new Fallout project that is still largely a mystery.

Fallout 76 isn't getting left out of the fun, either, as a major expansion is planned to release next year called Raven Rock, which will be a prequel to Fallout 3.
