Developers Sever and Schisma Games have announced that The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante is free to keep on Steam until July 23, ahead of “a brand-new narrative RPG set in the same universe.” And if you add the game to your library now, you’ll even be given a launch discount for The Life and Suffering of Prince Jerian when it launches on July 20.
For the unaware, The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante is a choice-driven narrative RPG told through a hand-drawn diary that follows protagonist Sir Brante from the moment of his birth to the moment of his death. Set against the backdrop of the Arknian Empire, you play as a commoner with no rights or title who must overcome “ossified tradition and prejudice” to take your place as the rightful heir to the Brante family.
The Life and Suffering of Sir Brante is also coming to Nintendo Switch & Switch 2 on July 20.
