It may have received heaps of post-game content since its launch back in 2016, but with fans racking up thousands of hours of play time, it is no wonder that Stardew Valley is home to many fan-created projects.
It has officially been a decade since Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone released Stardew Valley, a farming simulation game which tells the story of the player inheriting their grandfather's farm after his death. With a dilapidated farm to run, players must grow, build, mine, and rear in order to return it to its former glory, but with the help of the local townsfolk, it will not be long before the gold is pouring in.
Since its launch, ConcernedApe has added tons of free content to the game, and now, Stardew Valley is widely regarded as one of the greatest games of all time, especially topping the charts of farming simulators.
As such, it has been the number one game for modders over the years, with PC gamers regularly finding new and unique ways to experience the game. That is definitely the case for Stardew Valley: Distant Lands.
