Around the launch of Elden Ring, a cult hero was born—Let Me Solo Her. This now legendary figure would help players beat the game's then-toughest boss, Malenia, Blade of Miquella, by dual-wielding swords and wearing only a pot over their heads for protection. Fast-forward to the launch of Shadow of the Erdtree, and Let Me Solo Her became Let Me Solo Them, helping players beat the DLC's final boss, whom they initially had trouble overcoming.
An interesting piece of lore, or simply just a chair?
However, as Oscar Wilde once said, "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery", and that's becoming a problem.
In the weeks since Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree launched, players have reported an alarming number of Let Me Solo Her clones, of which the vast majority are nowhere near as helpful.
When players are summoning help for one of the game's many difficult bosses, the name Let Me Solo Her/Them/something else incredibly similar is often popping up above the gold summon sign, leading players to feel like they've hit the jackpot. Unfortunately, they haven't. Reports across Reddit have shown just how inefficient these rip-offs often are.
