Red Dead Redemption 3 Can Wait, RDR2: The Forgotten Frontier Is Coming

Red Dead Redemption 2 brought us one of the greatest game worlds of all time. While it didn't have as much going on as a game like Skyrim, its realistic, beautiful depiction of the dying days of the Wild West gave players hundreds of hours of exploration and some of the most beautiful vistas in any release to date.

A big part of that are all the towns, settlements, and points of interest that crop up as you go, but there was one notable absence. Mexico plays a major role in the first game, but it's conspicuously absent in the prequel, and that really does feel like one of the few missed opportunities for the release as a whole.

Happily, there's a team out there who plan to change all that, and the project is up and running once again in a big way.
