Yesterday, one Elden Ring fan noticed something called "DLC+" at the bottom of a Fextralife wiki page, which it claims is a difficulty modifier separate from New Game Plus that gives all enemies increased health and damage after you beat Consort Radahn.
This has completely slipped under the radar, so this same fan—Spleenczar—tested it for themselves and crunched the numbers. They made a character, got to the end of the DLC, and copied the save file. On one, they beat Consort Radahn and started New Game Plus, and on the other, they skipped the fight altogether and started New Game Plus.
Who would've thought the worst way to play Elden Ring would be the best way to fight Radahn?
They then made a beeline for the realm of shadow to see how the damage would differ between the two toons. Against Messmer the Impaler, the Tarnished that had not beaten Radahn took 1,299 damage, but the Tarnished that had beaten Radahn took 1,478 damage, an increase of 179. They broke this down between all enemies in excruciating detail on a Google spreadsheet, so you can see the full extent of what DLC+ changes by clicking the link.
Interestingly, DLC+ doesn't...
