Having launched at the tail-end of 2024, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind was sandwiched by Tribute’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge and Marvel Cosmic Invasion a couple of years before and after it was released. Theoretically, Digital Eclipse’s 2D beat-’em-up game should’ve been regarded as highly as Tribute’s, but wasn’t, and that’s a shame.
However, there’s a unique silver lining that this Power Rangers game is fortunate enough to be receiving a little less than two years later. If there’s ever a game that needed a second wind and could well earn it by being thrust toward players in 2026, it’s Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind, which will be available on PlayStation Plus for free a little over a week from now.
Per the official PlayStation Blog, it was revealed earlier this week that Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind is joining the PS Plus Game Catalog this month. In particular, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind will be available for subscribers of PS Plus’ Extra and Premium tiers. Likewise, it’ll be available for PS4 and PS5.
