Fans of Bloodborne and 2025 Game of the Year, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, have a new game to check out next month. Lord of Mysteries is a free-to-play MMORPG from developer SPARK NEXA based on the popular Chinese web novel of the same name. Those craving more of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33's mix of fantasy and Belle Epoque setting will enjoy the Victorian England aesthetic of Lord of Mysteries.

Originally serialized between 2018 and 2020, Lord of Mysteries is a web novel series that follows protagonist Zhou Mingrui who finds himself transmigrated into the body of Klein Moretti, a university graduate in a world that bears a striking resemblance to Victorian England. As Klein Moretti, he forms the Tarot Club dedicated to those with mystical powers, called Beyonders, and the Great Old Ones, Eldritch Gods similar to the Great Ones of Bloodborne.
