Footage from the intro of the canceled Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link game has surfaced online. The now-defunct Kingdom Hearts mobile title was set to bridge the gap between Kingdom Hearts 3 and Kingdom Hearts 4, but development was stopped, and the project shut down back in 2025. However, the game's intro cinematic has now leaked, giving fans a chance to see how the game's story might have unfolded, and it's truly something bizarre, even for Kingdom Hearts.
I'm not in love with Kingdom Hearts 4's art style so far, but I'm willing to give it the benefit of the doubt until more of the game is shown.
In a post from X user kijuler, the entire five-minute intro cutscene for Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link can be viewed. This cutscene features some very strange imagery, focusing on a group of Keyblade wielders wearing futuristic diving suits. The group battles what appears to be the same massive Heartless that Sora can be seen fighting in the Kingdom Hearts 4 trailers. After defeating this monster, the darkness surrounding it fades away to reveal the world of Quadratum, leaving more questions than answers about this mysterious group and their connection to Sora's story....
