Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 Launches August 25 With Four-Player Co-op and Alien Universe DLC

Daybreak Game Company and Cold Iron Studios have revealed that Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 will launch worldwide on August 25, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam, and the Epic Games Store.

The sequel expands the original game’s cooperative third-person shooting action from three players to four, placing players in the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to some of the most dangerous locations in the Alien universe. Players will need to coordinate their classes and abilities as Xenomorphs stalk corridors, attack from the shadows, and overwhelm squads in increasingly chaotic encounters.

Cold Iron Studios says Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 will feature deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, new elemental weapon modifications, and a fully customizable Specialist class. We also went hands-on with Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 during Summer Game Fest 2026, where we experienced its expanded four-player action and some of the new threats waiting for Colonial Marines.
