Developed by IO Interactive, 007 First Light has received glowing reviews since its launch just two months ago, as gamers have been enthralled with getting to play a young James Bond as he attempts to join MI6, and become the 007 that we all know and love.

First Light's first major update has already arrived, and it doesn't disappoint. Update 1.1.0 is live now, and while its main purpose was to fix over 200 issues reported by the community, it also includes new content in the form of additional weapons and missions.

While Bond fans have been, more often than not, over the moon with the overall enjoyment factor of First Light, the game wasn't without its flaws, but IO Interactive has just cleaned house on what must be the majority of the game's technical issues.

Ranging from stability issues to problems with UI & HUD, gameplay improvements, and fixes for bugged-out achievements and challenges, this update adds a layer of polish to what has already been deemed one of the best games from 2026.
