A LEGO fan shared a custom build that turns a very popular board game into a playable LEGO kit, complete with minifigures. LEGO is all about creativity, be it in terms of how fans play with their kits or what they can make with the iconic Danish bricks. This is true to the extent that LEGO Ideas takes fan-designed builds and transforms them into sets that hit store shelves, such as what happened with the highly popular LEGO D&D set, Red Dragon's Tale.
Unfortunately for fans, the D&D set is on the list of LEGO sets retiring on July 31, so it will soon become unobtainable. For those who enjoy playable sets, though, there are still plenty of options. For example, August 1 will mark the release of the new Donkey Kong Arcade LEGO set that debuted recently on Amazon and the LEGO store for pre-orders, as it comes with playable controls to throw barrels and jump around like the old arcade game. Those who instead would prefer a full-fledged board game in LEGO version are in luck, as a new MOC (My Own Creation) from a fan provides just that.
