WWE 2K26 has officially restored the Hardy Boyz to its playable roster with the launch of Ringside Pass Season 4. Matt and Jeff Hardy are now available together in an officially licensed WWE game for the first time in over half a decade, with WWE 2K26 players able to purchase them for just under $10.

The brothers made their video game debut in 1999's WWF WrestleMania 2000 for the Nintendo 64, remaining regular fixtures throughout much of the next decade. After a lengthy absence, they returned as DLC in WWE 2K18 and appeared in the following two entries in the long-running franchise. However, only Jeff made the roster for WWE 2K22. Their continued absence eventually led to Matt and Jeff Hardy becoming the most popular Community Creations in WWE 2K25, reflecting the fandom's enduring interest in the iconic tag team.

Visual Concepts debuts a brand-new patch for WWE 2K26, with the 1.09 update largely focused on pushing bug fixes for the game.
