Splatoon Raiders Already Hits Major Milestone After Release

Just days after Splatoon Raiders launched, the Switch 2 game managed to reach the top spot on the UK software sales charts ending for the week of July 25, 2026. Although the Splatoon franchise is mostly known as a multiplayer shooter series, the newest spin-off, Splatoon Raiders, is seemingly making a name for itself as it starts to appear on sales charts.

Following the massive success that was Splatoon 3, many fans were surprised to see that Splatoon Raiders intended to take the franchise in a different direction. After being surprise revealed in the Nintendo Today app, the spin-off game showcased the Deep Cut trio seemingly being stranded on a mysterious island chain following a helicopter crash. Landing on the Spirhalite Islands, players would team up with Deep Cut to find treasure in a primarily single-player adventure. Despite making such a big shift away from the competitive multiplayer gameplay that the franchise is known for, it seems like Splatoon Raiders is turning into a big success.
