Depending on who you talk to, The Legend of Zelda series either moves quickly or at a glacial pace. Some fans are still combing over every inch of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom, trying to 100% them and uncover any Easter eggs and secrets in the process. Others blazed through them in a matter of days or weeks, and are waiting for the next big thing.
What that next thing will be is heavily under wraps. We know that there's an Ocarina of Time remake coming later this year, but the next era of Zelda is a mystery. Thanks to a new post on X, a major official redesign for The Legend of Zelda might be coming sooner than expected.
Thanks to a new post from "Necro" Felipe on X, we may have seen our first glimpse of the 40th anniversary logo for The Legend of Zelda. Adorned by iconography from the very first Zelda NES game, this logo is allegedly going to be employed for a Switch 2 Pro Controller, which is supposedly in the works for later this year.
What sweetens the pot is that Nintendeal, a reliable source, has corroborated this claim...
