Square Enix has just confirmed that Final Fantasy 14's install size on Nintendo Switch 2 will be 117.2GB. This means that Final Fantasy 14 will break the record for the largest file size for a single game currently available on the Nintendo Switch 2.

Since that rebooted launch, Final Fantasy 14 has received five major expansions, each one adding new locations, new playable Jobs, new races, new raids, and new story content to the acclaimed fantasy MMORPG. Naturally, these expansions have made Final Fantasy 14 a much larger game than it was all the way back in 2013, and the full, unfiltered experience is heading to Nintendo Switch 2 on August 4, 2026.
