Bandai Namco has officially confirmed a brand-new update is coming for Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, officially launching on July 29. The sizable update to Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero will include new stages, gameplay mechanics, and other changes.
The Gods are generally the most powerful beings in Dragon Ball, but some extremely powerful fighters have broken their limits to actually kill a God.
Bandai Namco recently shared more details about the newest update coming to Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero. The patch introduces three stages to the game with the debut of Rocky Land (White Valley), City Ruins (Clear Skies), and Molten Lava, alongside one new BGM track. Sparking Zero's July update adds two new gameplay mechanics, with Linked Blast, which allows characters to fire off a Blast immediately after switching, and Sparking! Boost, a new power-up that consumes Skill Stocks to enter the special Sparking! Mode. Bandai Namco is also making sweeping adjustments to several members of Sparking Zero's sizable roster, including Skill Stock Recovery, Attack Power, and Ki Recovery.
An update will be implemented starting from July 29, 2026 8:00 (UTC).
Maintenance is planned from July 29 8:00 to 10:00 (UTC) in conjunction with the update.
