Golden Frieza is making a major comeback in a popular Dragon Ball game, being added as a playable character in Dragon Ball Legends alongside Android 17. The legendary version of the iconic Dragon Ball Z villain will be available in the game for nearly a month.

The storied history of the Dragon Ball franchise has produced a wealth of iconic villains, and Frieza easily stands as one of its most popular. Frieza first debuted in Dragon Ball Z as the main antagonist of the Planet Namek arc, and the villain responsible for the near-eradication of the Saiyans and the destruction of Planet Vegeta. After being defeated by Goku at the conclusion of the Frieza Saga, the villain has returned in multiple forms throughout the series, such as Metal Frieza, Future Frieza, and Golden Frieza. Now, one of Frieza's most powerful incarnations is officially being added to a Dragon Ball game.
