There's no doubt that the end of the Game of Thrones TV adaptation left basically its entire audience in a state of perpetual disappointment with the way it wrapped things up. From Dany "forgetting" about the Iron Fleet to the Battle of Winterfell, where you had to turn all the lights off and squint to roughly see what was going on.
Not only that, but the great threat of the Night King and his hordes turned out to be a bit of a damp squib, after the big bad himself was dispatched by Arya Stark after a simple dagger to the guts. If all of that left a proverbial bad taste in the mouth, there's a new release on the way where you should be able to make your own ending, and it could be a lot more cohesive than what we were eventually served at the culmination of the show.
