Hello Kitty's partnership with Minecraft is expanding once again, giving fans another reason to revisit one of gaming's biggest block-building worlds. Following the success of the pair's earlier collaboration, Sanrio has introduced a brand-new furniture add-on that lets players transform their homes with character-themed decorations, collectibles, and functional items inspired by some of its most recognizable mascots.
The crossover brings together two entertainment giants. Minecraft, the best-selling video game of all time with more than 300 million copies sold, and a franchise valued at roughly $10 billion, continues to attract major licensed collaborations. For Sanrio, the latest release further extends Hello Kitty's presence in gaming while offering longtime fans a more customizable experience than ever before.
Rather than introducing another story-driven adventure, the newest Minecraft Marketplace collaboration focuses on home decoration and creativity. The Hello Kitty and Friends Furniture Add-On, developed by Mojang partner Razzleberries, adds more than 20 craftable furniture pieces designed around Hello Kitty and several beloved Sanrio characters. The expansion is available through the Minecraft Marketplace for 1,510 Minecoins, or approximately $8.99.
