As Naruto fans wait for more episodes to arrive in some form, there is plenty to explore already. I remember when the anime first debuted in 2002, and the impact it made throughout the anime and shonen communities.
So many fans were just getting into anime at the time, and had moved straight from a diet of Dragon Ball Z to Naruto. While other shonen were released between them (and plenty after), Naruto has maintained staying power for over 20 years, while many others have failed.
It's still exceedingly popular, and shows no signs of slowing down. The vast cast and the continuation of Naruto: Shippuden, as well as Boruto, have helped it stay relevant. Thanks to a new official announcement on YouTube, we know that Naruto's return is coming sooner than expected.
According to publisher Bandai Namco, the official Naruto card game is confirmed for a 2027 global release. Unique artwork created for the game is in, as is art from the anime and manga series.
