Nintendo's been quiet ever since the initial reveal of Zelda: Ocarina of Time's new Nintendo Switch 2 remake, which, even though it leaked online ahead of time, was a massive surprise for fans the world over.
Indeed, many fans didn't even believe the rumors/leaks of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, yet it came true. That alone adds credence to rumors surrounding the next open-world Zelda game, which is believed to add cross-dimensional gameplay to the Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom formula, as well as the next 2D spin-off rumored to be like Echoes of Wisdom but focused on Ganondorf. While it remains to be seen if those prove true too, the Ocarina of Time remake is real and has received an ESRB rating + release date update.
