Every plan is a good plan until it's time to follow through, at which point the only thing to do is hope that everything works out. Minegeon: Renegades was supposed to launch on July 28, and all involved would have been quite happy if that had actually happened, but sometimes everyone needs to wait a day or two. After a bit of a setback waiting for final Steam approval, the roguelike action extraction shooter is finally available, and it's a great pixel-art adventure into the slime-infested tunnels of a planet that's dangerous and rewarding in equal measures.
An Unexpected Detour Can Still Be a Profitable One
A group of three outlaws, the Renegades, has a heist go bad, and during the escape they end up stuck in orbit of the mining planet Paimo. Seeing as they're there they figure it's worth exploring to see what they can turn up, and as it turns out the caverns and tunnels hold plenty of riches for explorers who are willing to supplement their shooting with a little pickaxe-based mining. Outcroppings of ore are everywhere in the tunnels, paying off nicely with either experience to earn new gadgets or minerals to bring...
