It is hard to believe that it was way back in 1974 that Dungeons & Dragons was first created by Gary Gygax and Dave Arneson and published by Tactical Studies Rules. After being put together by the pair in a humble basement, the cooperative, storytelling tabletop RPG (TTRPG) has now become a worldwide phenomenon, seeing players come together with friends to express their imagination and roll a whole lot of dice.
As such, over the past 50 years, the Dungeons & Dragons universe has collaborated with all manner of hit IPs, including the likes of Stranger Things, Magic: The Gathering, World of Warcraft, and many more, and now, it seems as though the Star Wars universe will be the next collaboration to look forward to.
Courtesy of a Twitter/X post on the official Dungeons & Dragons account, a Dungeons & Dragons x Star Wars collaboration will take place in the Season of Rebellion and will arrive some time in 2027. With more details to be revealed later on, it is exciting news nonetheless.
