After the launch of Season 4, EA released a new content roadmap showcasing what's planned for Battlefield 6 both in terms of upcoming content and features in season 5 and beyond. Following an uneven end to 2025, Battlefield 6 has continued to build momentum with its players thanks to solid seasonal updates and continued patches to fix and improve the overall experience.
The positive momentum has continued in Season 4, which adds a major focus to naval warfare in Battlefield 6. As part of the latest seasonal content, Battlefield 6 added Tsuru Reef, the biggest map that Battlefield Studios have released for the game yet. The map itself is a massive chain of islands, featuring plenty of water to traverse with boats and jetskis, as well as buildings to fight through and tropical vegetation. The update also brought new weapons to the game as well, including the EF88 Assault Rifle, BROD 3 Carbine, and VSSM DMR, with plenty more planned over the upcoming phases of Season 4.
