Taking on the role of our lead assassin back in 2017's Assassin's Creed Origins, Bayek of Siwa went on to become one of the most beloved protagonists in the Ubisoft franchise. Operating in Egypt during the reign of Cleopatra, the story follows Bayek and his wife Aya, who go on to found the Assassin's Brotherhood following their death of their son at the hands of the Templar Order.
Portrayed by Kenyan-British actor Abubakar Salim, Bayek is remembered fondly as, despite the loss of his son and his quest for revenge, he still manages to display warmth for the people he meets along the way thanks to his fierce moral compass. As such, he is presented as a multidimensional character, as opposed to a carbon copy hero. Not only that, but Salim's incredible performance definitely helped Bayek come to life.
