The latest trailer for Epic Mickey: Rebrushed has confirmed that the remake won't be adding voice-acting to the cutscenes or in-game dialogue, although it does give Mickey a bunch of new moves.

2024 has been chock-full of surprises so far, but one of the biggest happened early on in the year when Epic Mickey: Rebrushed was revealed at Nintendo's first Direct of the year. The original Epic Mickey is a cult classic that many thought would never see the light of day again, but Rebrushed as a good middle-point between remake and remaster that spruces it up for a new generation.

As someone who never played this Wii classic, I'm glad it's finding a new home.

Ever since Epic Mickey: Rebrushed was first revealed, fans have wondered just how much of the original game it was going to improve upon. At first, it seemed like more of a remaster, but then it leaked that Mickey would have a bunch of new platforming and combat moves, pushing the dial more towards remake. One big hope fans had was for full voice-acting, something that's just been deconfirmed.
