Final Fantasy 6 is often considered one of the best entries in the entire series, and protagonist Terra Branford plays no small part in that acclaim. Although Final Fantasy 6 really has an ensemble cast of 14 potential party members, players will spend most of their time getting to know Terra and her tragic backstory. Now, Terra is set to return to the franchise once again on October 22 when Final Fantasy Resonance releases.
A Final Fantasy 6 remake or remaster has been something high on the wish lists of many series fans for quite some time. Final Fantasy 7 Revelation will conclude the FF7 remake trilogy next year, and Square Enix is open to future Final Fantasy remakes, with FF7 Remake director Naoki Hamaguchi even citing Final Fantasy 6 as a potential option for the treatment. Since Square Enix hasn't officially confirmed a Final Fantasy 6 remake at this point, Terra's appearance in Final Fantasy Resonance will have to be the next best thing.
