THQ Nordic Is Teasing A New Darksiders Game

Darksiders is arguably the jewel in the crown that is THQ Nordic's lineup of titles, having originated back in 2010 and received multiple sequels over the course of the last 14 years. Darksiders Genesis was the last game in the series, released back in 2019, and it caused a bit of a stir by distancing itself from the traditional hac and slash, Zelda-inspired gameplay to a top-down approach.

Since then, we've heard barely a peep about Darksiders from THQ Nordic, but that looks to have ended after the publisher's yearly showcase which took place earlier today. While we saw exciting announcements like Wreckfest 2 and updates on games like the Gothic 1 Remake, THQ Nordic teased what appears to be a new Darksiders game right at the very end of the show.

THQ Nordic doesn't announce it as a new Darksiders game outright, but those familiar with the series should instantly clock the three stone heads on fire in the teaser. Those delightful guys are The Charred Council, who are supposed to act as mediators to try and bring balance to the war between Heaven and Hell.
