The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will turn a decade old in 2027. That doesn't seem possible, but it did indeed launch on the Wii U and Nintendo Switch on March 3, 2017. The fact that it even launched on Wii U at all is surreal, but just like Twilight Princess before it, it had a dual-console-generational release.
Since that time, it's had a massive impact on the Zelda community, as well as the RPG sector as a whole. Countless developers have tried to replicate its formula with mixed success, and games that look closely like it are still referred to as "clones" by some. You could say it has a sterling reputation.
Part of that is because fans are discovering new secrets and ways to bend the game all the time. That includes this new tech on Reddit, which many players have never seen before.
Amid hundreds of upvotes for a comment that simply states "I didn't know," there are users who had no idea. As one explains: "I feel like this is a cool trick that is almost never viable but will turn out to be some insane tech for a speedrun or something."...
