After the recent shake-ups at XBOX resulted in a massive face-saving update from Bethesda Softworks on Fallout and various other projects such as The Elder Scrolls 6, it looks like it may be quite some time before we finally get our hands on Fallout 5. While it isn't all that surprising that TES6 is the priority at the moment, the fact Fallout 5 is only in pre-development and we won't see it until at least 2030 is a huge blow to players.
Fortunately, there are a handful of other projects to look forward to in the meantime, such as Season 3 of the Fallout Amazon series, the newly announced Fallout 3 Raven Rock prequel coming to Fallout 76, a Fallout 3 and New Vegas remaster, and of course, the exciting new Fallout project in the works from Obsidian.
Beyond these major new releases, there's been a massive wave of interest in various Fallout characters and icons, from the Super Mutant Marcus to Dogmeat, Fawkes, Nick Valentine, Piper Wright, and the Mysterious Stranger.
