New Survival Horror Game on Steam is Division Meets Fallout with a Unique Jurassic Park Twist

Jurassic Park’s undeniable success as a movie franchise has resulted in a good deal of dinosaur-centric games. There was the classic Dino Crisis franchise that fans are still desperate to see revived, not to mention numerous licensed Jurassic Park and World video games. Indie developers have also thrown their hats into the mix, with unique titles such as a Peak-like game set in a dinosaur park on the way. Developer Flatrock Games’ own dino title, Clawed, is one that’s also worth watching, as the Steam game keeps the horror elements that regularly pop up in the Jurassic Park franchise intact.

However, Steam’s Clawed isn’t just a straightforward horror game set in a dinosaur-filled park with a bunch of sneaking and hiding, as it also combines elements from both the Fallout and Division franchises to create an extremely intriguing final product. Obviously, there isn’t much connective tissue between Bethesda’s post-apocalyptic RPG series and the Tom Clancy military vibe, but the elements that are pulled from these two IPs are key to making Clawed work. In Clawed, players aren’t a helpless survivor, but a secret agent who will be shooting back at the dinosaurs and regularly looting containers to survive....
