Apex Legends Season 30 Finally Out Now, Read the Patch Notes Here

Apex Legends season 30 is finally here, bringing with it a ton of hotly anticipated changes to the popular battle royale game (alongside a few cursory ones). It'll be interesting to see, for example, how the energy ammo and loot changes impact the gameplay of Apex Legends, but the biggest changes are, without a doubt, Bloodhound's rework and World's Edge.

Both cases required developers to work with a fine-toothed comb. World's Edge is easily one of the best Apex Legends maps in the game, competitively and casually becoming a fan-favorite ever since its addition years ago. Now, it's had a few tweaks, brought back a few PoIs, and has a unique skybox for fans to enjoy. Leading the charge in changes, though, is Bloodhound: the OG Recon character in Apex Legends.

Unfortunately for fans, an EA-published game is now shut down permanently, though it remains playable elsewhere.

The biggest change to Bloodhound's rework is the Ultimate, which now lets them cloak themselves and their allies, allowing for some unique game-making plays as the beloved Recon Legend.
