Sega Confirms Persona 6 Will Get A Physical Release, But Only On PS5

We know that there's going to be a Persona 6, and that the next game's color theme will be green, but other than that, we don't know much at all about what Sega and Atlus have planned for the next game in the series. We don't even have a release window, although a footnote spotted on Sega's bare-bones Persona 6 page may have given the game away.

On the page, under the listed platforms on which Persona 6 will launch, Sega includes a note that reads, "Only physical copies of the PlayStation 5 version are available." Unsurprising that the PC version of Persona 6 will be digital-only, but surprising that there won't be a physical edition on Xbox since, even though it has never been exclusive, there has been a relationship between the series and the platform in recent years.

The page went live on June 8, 2026. However, it's unclear if that footnote has been there the entire time, or if Sega added it more recently. Either way, Persona fans didn't pick up on it until now.
