Some Pokemon GO players have discovered a new quick appraise feature that should make it faster to appraise Pokemon in the game. Since Pokemon GO's release in 2016, the game's developers have added a number of different features in an effort to make the game more enjoyable for both older players and newcomers. Sometimes these features are released in the game at the same time to all players, while others are given a slower roll out.

Pokemon GO features an appraisal system, which helps the player evaluate each Pokemon's Individual Ratings (IVs). Appraisals help players determine if a Pokemon will be useful in battles or if it might be too weak.
