The release date has since been pulled from the website but not before being seen by many and reported on. Retailers often have insider information like release dates before the public as it helps them co-ordinate marketing and synchronize with other retailers to release games on time. Although the release date was clearly posted by mistake, it is most likely the correct date and not just a blind error.
